CB750f turn signal malfunction

left turn signal on 77 CB750f stopped working. changed bulbs, tested flasher, unplugged leads to check contact and signal worked while parked, on the road it stopped working. did this routine three times, same results, what the hell is wrong?

Sounds like a loose connection check where it plugs in under seat,in the head light bucket plus the grounds clean both sockets. If that doesn't fix it time to take the sw. apart.
