One Liners
« on: May 03, 2005, 08:27:19 AM »
More from Peter Kay:

I saw a woman wearing a sweatshirt with 'Guess' on it. I said, "Thyroid problem?"

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bike. Then I realised, God doesn't work that way, so I stole one and asked him to forgive me

I've often wanted to drown my troubles, but I can't get my wife to go swimming.

I was doing some decorating, so I got out my step ladder. I don't get on with my real ladder

I went to a restaurant that serves 'breakfast at any time'. So I ordered French toast during the Renaissance

Well I was bullied at school, called all kinds of different names but one day I turned to my bullies and said - 'Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me', and it worked! From there on it was sticks and stones all the way

My Dad used to say 'always fight fire with fire', which is probably why he got thrown out of the fire brigade

Sex is like a game of bridge: If you don't have a good partner, you'd better have a good hand

I saw six men kicking and punching the mother-in-law. My neighbour said 'Are you going to help?' I said 'No, Six should be enough'

If we aren't supposed to eat animals, then why are they made out of meat?

I think animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers

You know that look women get when they want sex? Me neither.

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a sticking clutch cable and a pinched tube.

The tire is only flat on the bottom.

Into every life some rain must fall. Usually when you have no raingear along.

You never really learn to swear until you learn to drive.

Motorcycle riding is not dangerous. Crashing is dangerous.

We are born naked wet & hungry. Then things get worse.

When I was born I was so surprised I didn`t talk for a year and a half.

I used to have a handle on life but,it broke.

Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

Half of being smart is knowing what you`re dumb at.

Common sense isn`t.

Everyone has a photographic memory. Some just don`t have film.

Some drink at the fountain of knowledge ....others just gargle.

When the only tool you own is a hammer, every problem begins to resemble a nail.

It takes 250,000 Americans to screw in a light bulb. 1 to do it and 249,999 to debate if it is politically correct.

My favorite mythical creature? The honest politician.

If every thing seems to be coming your way, you`re probably in the wrong lane.

What goes around usually gets dizzy and falls over.

One day, you`re going to look back on this...........................and then plow into a parked car.

I drive way too fast to worry about cholesterol.

OK, so what's the speed of dark?

Bikers are a rare breed; Harley riders are a dime a dozen.

I know, not friendly but I used to have the shirt.  Probably a good thing it got stolen (I think?) or it would have gotten me in a fight sooner or later.
