S. Carolinian in Deutschland
« on: June 08, 2011, 08:08:28 AM »
I am a scoot-loving South Carolinian living in Germany.  I knew that I wanted a motorcycle from the very first time I rode on the back of my Uncle's bike as a kid, and now that I have one, I want more!

My stable currently consists of a 1992 Honda CB750 NH (yes, that is the DOHC 750cc delight pictured below), and 7 bicycles (sorry, no pics).

I have 7 bicycles because I am a habitual tinkerer and each one has a built purpose.  Now that I have had my motorcycle for a year, it is time to do some more serious tinkering  ;D.  But first, I need to learn.  I am here because my current goal is to find a 1973 CB350F, restore, modify, and fabricate until the motorcycle that graces my dream is running strong.  Although I am living in Germany right now (without a scoot  :'() I return to SC in August and I want to start building as soon as possible!  So until then, I will be lurking, learning, and contributing what I can.

With budget permitting, my bike should look a little like this one.  Except more cafe rear, clean and neutral bars, with a dose of modern technology.  If I even knew how to photoshop I would be happy to show you more what I mean.

cheers,
-g
