Topic: CycleX Exhaust - Does it fit a Hondamatic?

I've called and talked to Cycle X folks (more than once), and each time I get a "it should fit" response.

It seems that they don't have actual experience with a Hondamatic in their own shop, or have received feedback from a Hondamatic owner.  I am concerned about our sump (that doesn't exist (as deep) on the non-Hondamatic 750's).

Anybody have experience with the Cycle X header (their 4-2-1 system http://cyclexchange.net/Exhaust%20System%20Page.htm)on their Hondamatic?

looking at this picture, there does look a fair bit of room between the pipe and stock sump.

Anybody already have one installed?  That's what I'd like to know.

I had one on my 76 and other than being loud it was an exact fit and could still access the oil filter

if you are looking for the one with the Y pipe underneath the pan I don't think it will fit the sump on a 750A is deeper than even the 550 the pipe i had was called a sidewinder the pipes joined just in front of the timing cover not underneath  and sorry i have no photos of the bike as i traded it about three weeks ago but it came with those pipes i just don't think they were the same model he is talking about the link just took me to the site but after reading what he said again I think I understand what he is getting at and I don't believe that they will fit the 750A
