Let fuller's cb750 rack up all the art and craftsmanship credit it deserves, instead of trying to pretend it's a race bike for the street.

Well said.
People need to be honest about bikes and what they really are.

PJ, i completely see your point, you are entitled to your opinion. Those bikes do look cool but they would handle like #$%*, you don't need much of an understanding of suspension geometry to work that one out....

Ran across this thread looking for sandcast threads and wanted to add 1 last comment.   9 times out of 10, Fuller starts a project without having a customer.  He usually has a few interested parties only after they see what he's working on.  He is lucky and talented enough to build what he wants.  Like this monster -  4 wheel drive and about 900 hp.  The engineering and fabrication going into this one is incredible.   Not finished yet, but now has an owner patiently waiting for its completion.

Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.

Must be nice to be able to self finance like that, must be all that TV money.

Actually that car is pretty cool. I isn't the first 4wd 32 ford but it is one of the more useful ones. What's the chassis look like? Doesn't he call it the "double down" roadster? terrible name.

Troy Trepanier built one in 1999.

I don't know if it was the first but it's the first one I came across.
It was a big buck unit admittedly but, from what I've heard, it delivered "the goods" as in drove well, fast, stopped and had a good turning circle.

Brian Fullers stuff.
It's his interpretation of a bike(s).
More power to him.
He's doing more than a lot of people are.
I find there's almost always something to learn from posts on this thread, even if it's what I wouldn't do.

Actually Troy "rebuilt" the quadradeuce as it was first built by Mark Stielow in the mid 1990s (1994-95?) and it was AWD back then. The car used the best of what was available at the time but 5 years made a huge difference (from Lt-1 to LS series for example) and Troy's car was certainly more driver friendly (automatic trans...blergh), but Troy started with what was already there, he didn't start from scratch. The original Stielow car pulled a 3.2 second 0-60 time on BFG radial tires, which for 1995 was mindblowing, the ferrari F40 or corvette ZR1 wasn't even that fast to 60.

I remember the quadraduece - we saw it Vegas many moons ago.   Always interested me.

This one just makes me smile and laugh - that's how I know he's on to something truly ridiculous and badarse.

I've been thanking Geeto67 for setting the record straight on the Quadraduece via PM but thought I'd do it "officially" as well.
It's nice when someone fills in the info gaps rather than chime in by "throwing stones".
Thanks again, Geeto67.

There isn't anything to criticize there (except maybe having a real windshield if it is a street car). However it let's see it when it is finished and painted.

My thoughts exactly when I saw that pic.

Pretty rad.

FWIW, I'm not a shill for Race Tech - I've just got a thing for good suspension and the RTCE's are the most cost-effective mod for these old damping rod front ends.
