Topic: Spitfire S11 Raised Whitle Letters

Does anyone know where I can get a Spitfire S11 RWL 120/90 18 rear tire. It seems that every place just sells the black wall version. I need to replace my rear and I don't remember it being so difficult to find these. Have they gone extinct!?

Yes, white marker makes them into whitewall lettering though quite easily.

I use White-Out! But seriously Tires Unlimited says they have them.

I just checked the site and they only have blackwall for my size : (

The 120/90/18 they have listed is categorized as a front tire... Does that matter?

I read somewhere that there is a difference. Rear tires are made with more compound for longevity, withstanding more weight and designed differently to make the handling more true.

I got mine from Buchanon while they were doing my rims and their prices were about the same as elsewhere

rears are getting pretty hard to find

I had no luck so I just went with a backwall. Once the spitfires wear out I plan on putting some of those vintage looking tires from coker. Thanks for the help guys!
