Brent did freekin awesome for his first weekend racing at Mosport. How many podiums Brent? Your 550 looked great as it was pulling away from me on the back straight!

He got a 2ND in the 1st heat & 3rd in the 2ND heat.  I was watching from 8/9/10 when the leaders caught the pack.  He cut a great line through the pack & corners, to moved from 4Th to 2ND.   Wasn't so lucky in the 2ND heat.  Was challenging for the lead, and got bocked in traffic.  Lost to much ground to get back to 2ND.  Henderson won, but frankly for a while there Brent was keeping pace.  Of course Henderson was riding with a broken foot (shifter side), while setting fastest lap.

Sooooo.... I missed it all....and I cried this weekend as I knew you guys were having a good time at the Mo'.   

At the very least....can you pleasure me with a quick writing of how the weekend panned out!?

Great to see a post of yours again Brendan.  

Unfortunately the turnout for Mosport was thin, although there were other SOHC4's there.  A nice 750 mild cafe by GPR member Sam, a Sandcast, and Kemp's 550.  VRRA dropped the ball, and didn't rope off an area,.....   Honda said they weren't planning on being there as late as April, and then are there!  You get the idea.  All that aside, the people were  great, the racing was fast, the weather held out, and the bikes to see covered the spectrum.

Yea it was a very cool weekend. I think the old single cam Hondas were well represented on and off the track. From a CB175 twin to the three CB750's and everything in between the pits are full of Honda CB race bikes......good thing.     

I still think the Vintage Festival could be even better if Mosport would include the event in their scheduling....WTF?? There seemed to be a fair number of spectators, but this is such a special event I expect more people would come if they knew it was happening.

It was good to see everyone.

Sorry I missed meeting you bwaller, was hanging a bit with Tintop & HondanutRider but never made your aquaintance I'm sure you were busy with race prep, congrats on your showings!  I thought it was a great turn out & exciting racing, my first time but I'll be back for sure.
