'71 750 under handlebar mirrors
« on: August 22, 2011, 09:54:43 PM »
Anyone know of a good setup for an under-the-handlebars mirror. I'm not a big fan of bar end mirrors but could go that route if someone knows of one that would reverse back under the bars.

All the bar-end mirrors I've seen/used can be mounted to hang under the bars, but they pretty much lose all functionality at that point since you can't see through your arms.

Stock mirrors mounted on opposite sides, upside down... I had to bend them a little, and limit the steering travel [different bars might be different] with some rubber hose over the stops but hey it was free, and works pretty well.  I'm only running the left side mirror, you might have to work out some way to mount one on the right hand side as I dont think the hole goes all the way through like the left side does. with the mirrors mounted under the grips, I can see behind me, under my arm.  My hand does sometimes get in the way of the view in certain riding positions
