Right side rearset. Hard coat anodized peg and bracket, less stuff to polish, and it looks better IMO. The pegs were slash cut underneath for ground clearance and coolness.
The brake arm interface is internally keyed and rides in a bushing within the frame.

I tied the exhaust pipe bracket into the top rearset fastener.

Hannibal's business has him very busy with a backlog of orders and he hasn't been on here in quite some time. With the quality of his work it is easy to understand the backlog of orders.

Front brake from backside. ATE unit from a BMW, modified with stainless pistons that I made, and I also modified the caliper body to clear the spokes. Over 1000 miles and working perfectly.

I made air filters utilizing custom machined flanges with stainless steel screens and off-road filter elements. They work fantastic, and I got my jetting dialed. At 5800-6000rpm she is a beast.

More rearset shots. I also made a stainless steel linkage system, and the rear drum really works great.

I have not posted in a long while because I have been enjoying the bike too much!

The battery is stashed underneath the seat hump. I made a bracket that holds the battery firmly, and it also utilizes neoprene padding. I also stashed a relay above the battery. My fuse block is also stashed.

You can also see how I tied the seat section to the frame at the rear. I made two "arms" that tie ito the subframe that are attached to an arch that was bonded inside the hump radius.

This is another shot of my custom gauge bracket. I rubber mounted the unit, and it works. I used neoprene discs and an aluminum spacer system. It has just enough "give" to keep the gauges vibration free.

She eats gas like it's going out of style though! It runs super strong, and I have got loose a few times when I over gassed her coming out of turns. I learned so much about the CB550 during the build.

Holy bejeezus you do amazing work! I've poked in on your thread in the past, but seeing it again after a hiatus, and the shots of the bike in its entirety, I'm nearly speechless. It's art on two wheels and good for you for not posting, but riding. Well done, sir!

This is an awesome build. I wish I had your fab skills. Looks great. Those CR carb filters are pretty slick.
