front brake issues help
« on: June 12, 2011, 10:18:32 AM »
ok guys having some issues with my front brakes. i have a cb750 k1 that i rebuilt the master cylinder but after install it wouldnt bleed enough to build pressure. could heat it pumping then i started to leak around the lever. so i decided to throw a spare master cylinder off a modern bike which i had used before for a bit. that one pumped up and bleed good. but went for a ride and i only have about the first 1/4 of a pull before it gets so stiff i cant pull it anymore but the bike will barely stop. its almost acting like the caliper is stuck? trying to figure out what i can do untill i rebuild the stock one or buy a new one.

also i know we have a 14mm bore stock but any modern mc you guys would recomend.  i have new braided lines and stock single disc.
k1 cb750 cafe racer (aka Helter Skelter)
