1974 Honda CB550. This bike has been lowered about 6" and stretched 10". It's now a hard tail with a sprung seat/and shock absorber. Good tires. Runs good. Less than 15000 miles on it. Just add bags and hit the road. I'm gonna ride my trike now.

Looks like a hack job to me... if I wanted a drab bike Id buy a royal enfield.  but once again, to each his own.
" Why does anyone get offended by what someone does to their own bike? I dont get it. "

You made me think about it after I cheered knowing someone else would like to know what these control freaks are up to.
Every time any owner strips whatever precious Honda part the horrified purists parts go up in value. That's not the part that bothers them.
What bothers them is they sat up late at night, their breast full of wonder and estrogen, unable to sleep, dreaming about their lovely darling and all her glory... and next thing you know someone else doesn't share their emotional deluge and their reaction is they must spread their mind museum as far as they possibly can, taking over as much of the real world as possible.

Drink fast, drive slow, but ride it like you stole it

Looks like it's about to snap in two...it might be better engineered than it looks, but it really looks like its sagging in the middle.

Also, and I know this is just my opinion, but some people need to take a step back from the rattle can flat black paint jobs. While I admit they do have their place, on certain pars, bikes, etc...but there is nothing eye catching about a whole bike rattle canned flat black.

That rear extension section is demented. What's with the plumbing pipe rhombus? Whoever did this should not be allowed near a welder before learning some of the basic principles of structural engineering.
