Sorry I havent been around much.  I got a supermoto and have been playing on that.  I also took the CB apart again.  Shes getting a new tank, tail, saddle, oil tank, harness, oil lines, and paint amongst other things.  Heres one of the first new pieces:

1) Bikes are never done... and I wasnt happy with the finish of the tank.
2) Generic one from ebay, its worked flawlessly but isnt on the bike anymore.  I ran out of room.

You might want to consider this bike done now. If you feel the need to change something, maybe you should just build a new bike.  ;)  I must admit that I liked everything about your previous build except the paint. The new look is awesome. I'd love to see a few non-photoshopped pics...

I want to say about 1.5 inches, but the springs were worn out and I installed cartridge emulators and preload adjusters so its hard for me to say exactly.

Ha, noted.  I think Ill move on to the next bike after its running again.  I think the paint became less appealing over time.  What would you suggest? Its raw steel right now, but I have some ideas in mind.  Ill take more once I get some primer on the tank and tail.

I'm the wrong guy to ask for input on a color. I've been trying to figure out how to paint my own bike (project #2) for over 3 months now. I'm not a fan of the bright and flashy themes. It's hard to say without looking at your bike in person, but I like the raw steel look. I realize the above picture has been touched up a bit but I think it looks cool just like that.

A little more progress.  The oil lines are stainless, bent and all dry fitted.  Tail light and Reg/Rec just need final wiring but shes about ready to ride.
