Good eye. That is a dimpol, and they dont have two caps... Unless, you have this particular tank with an oil tank built inside. Thats a functional air inlet detail to keep the air moving between the fuel and oil tanks.

hey dyreden have you actually mounted the tank and seat ? was looking at the same seat and tank but wasnt sure how much fab work there was to getting put on

Not yet, but Ill let you know how it goes. It could be fairly painless, but I cut off all the tabs on the rear of the frame so Ill make my own mounts. If it does need some minor welding you could always take it to a shop to have stuff done...

Thanks a lot for the above comment. Carpys headlight is 150. Its pretty well made and has room for 'extras'. In my case Im going to wire a key fob type ignition like I did on my R1 to get rid of the clutter associated with a lock cylinder and key switch.

Basically you wire up a RFID module(found on ebay for less than 20 bucks) to a latching relay, and presto, key less ignition(or whatever you want to turn on or off). I bought 4 for 40 bucks and used one on my R1. Everyone loves it and its so easy.
