Sorry for lack of posts. In any case, the under tail is pretty much done. I have a shorai batter, voltage reg/rec, starter solenoid and RFID sorted out. Chris from MotoGPwerks sent out my exhaust last friday so Im excited to get it this week. Its a stainless 4-1. Also installed the "Gordons" kit. Easy peezy. I feel like Im finally approaching the home stretch. Motor work this month.

If you look closely at the photo you can just make out the flanges on the left. They go between those machined parts and the header and then there are heavy springs that pull the header to the flange.

Since its been a few weeks. Sort of bike related, but got some paint on my helmet(not done by me) The work is a little over the top, but I have other helmets for when Im not looking for so much attention. Still needs clear coat.

Oh sorry I forgot. Sure, you can see most of it from the pics. Hes made the tail pipe and headers quickly removable(from each other and the head) with heavy springs and then machined an insert for the tail pipe to give it a more finish look. He also mentioned a change in the alignment of the tubes at the collector.

Thanks for the reply mate, my original ones i got off Chris have the removable rear with springs but the header pipes bolt on like stock pipes..

Yea Ive already made it. Its from a solid block of 1/2 inch clear polycarbonate that fits the pocket. Ive done more work but been a little lazy with the photos.

Heres a shot of the pocket where its tigd and smoothed. I still need to do the bottom edge but its a pain working upside down so Ill wait to till I have it down to the frame and am done with wiring mock up.

That was cut with a combination of a drill press, a sawsall, a handsaw a dremel and a lot of hand filing.

Engine update: After pulling the cam and head Ill need to bore the sleeves and get new valves along with getting the seats cut. Im going to have it bored over to 850cc and am dropping the head and jugs off for work this coming week. Im still working towards my goal to have it done before October.

So I ordered 836cc pistons from Japan on Sunday night. It's Wednesday afternoon 3 days later, and I have them. Incredible. Tomorrow is my birthday and all the tough stuff is done. The frame is off to powder coat, I'm dropping the head and jugs off tomorrow for valves, and boring. Also getting my tag tomorrow and picking the colors with the painter. In the home stretch.
