...Wow....good score Duck........looks excellent in the pic. Months and months of searching is what it takes sometimes. Other times, they fall right in your lap. Place I used to live, the neighbor across the street had the exact twin brother of your 350. Odd thing, I lived there for 10 years, before I saw it sitting in his garage, covered with junk. He knew I was into bikes, as where most of the people that visited me, and yet he never mentioned the 350. One day he had it pulled out, cleaning out his garage, so I sauntered over to check it out. 3900 miles, all orginal, just dusty and dirty. Had a 1976 plate on it. He didn't want to sell it, was just content to let it sit. I insisted on pulling out the battery, which luckily had not started to leak yet, and cleaned up the rest where it needed it. Inside the tank was pristine, he had parked it with no gas in it, and left the tank cap just ajar. It is still sitting there, and it's been at least 15 years since that day I gave him a hand with it. Seeing your bike Duck reminds me I should go back and check in with him!  ;)

Quite a tale. I would say bug him every couple of months. Maybe he will finally relent and sell it.  ;)

That's it, convince him how much better it would be if it were being taken care of an he could even come and visit it once in a while.

Well, I should have mentioned this guy, and his wife are the quietest, most private nieghbors I have yet met! I would say in the 10 years I lived there, we only spoke a couple dozen times. And those couple dozen times the conversations were always started by moi. This is why I was so surprised that he even had a bike in that garage! On most Saturday afternoons the in the summer there were always a line up of machines parked in front of my place, and he wouldn't even come over to look at the bikes. Just a real private quiet guy. Even my almost new 1983 Mike Hailwood Rep didn't even warrant a glance.  :o

Well said, tried that when I lived there, and now I live 15 miles away. Still, I will ride my 750F up there and bang on his door....... ;)
