Hello,

Well I've gone and done it now! I was backing the CB550 out of the garage and damn if I didn't back it right up into the fender of my brother's Kawi Vulcan.

As it turns out I sctached up the top of his front fender a bit. It doesn't seem to bad. The fender is some kind of plastic type material. Seems much more flexible than fiberglass. Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone would have some suggestions on how best to remove some light scratches from the fender.

(BTW...my CB550 didn't get a scratch on her! ;D)

Thank you,

If it's plastic, use Novus..  Novus plastic polish- there are 3 types:  1 is useless for motorcycling (in my opinion) as it is essentially a cleaner.  #2 will remove light scratches, and #3 will remove heavy scratches (but will then require #2 afterwards to restore shine).

It is sold online, and also I've heard of it being sold at grocery stores too of all places.  Here is one place that sells it online:

I use this stuff all the time- very good!
