Thanks Rocket, Stock seat? but it does look like it has a smaller profile up front for some reason...thinking the foam has compressed a little

just put 53 new to me miles on it this weekend, some jetting from a slow circuit jet and she ROCKS!! The Best part to all of us here with SOHC bikes, that picture is the first 2 miles to the local bike knight and she got a Best bike award.....it just does not get any better, Old School rules!! Greg

My 31,000 mile stock K3, even the paint's original. I NEED a set of 4 into 4's bad!!
Is the HONDA badge on the gas tank supposed to have black in the center of the lettering or White?

I've owned this CB750K1 since purchasing it new in 1971. It's been off the road since 1985, but a few months ago I was challenged to get it back on the street. The first picture is what I started with.

As of this past weekend, it's waiting for the fuel tank to come back from getting the internals cleaned and sealed. It's promised for this week. Otherwise, it's ready to start up (hopefully!!) with replacement tires, tubes, etc. on order.

I'm bringing it back in the configuration I ran it on the street in the early 70s. Stock except for Yoshimura double disc front brakes, Yoshimura cam & pistons, CD ignition system, drag bars and Jardine 4-into-1 headers being the main changes.

Maybe it fits this thread - maybe not. If not, no offense was intended.

Late 1970 K0 w/52,000 miles and still all-original. Among other places, this bike has been ridden to Alaska and back to Pa. Not 1 oil leak or puff of smoke. I'm the 2nd owner since new. Keeper.

Thanks, I'll do my best to keep her this way, I really like a stock CB400F as is.
There is one minor thing in styling with the CB400F, and that's the left side of the bike.

I agree, the classic look of these bikes are great! I hope my 78 CB750F turns out half as good as yours, great job!
