They said the K0 was 67 or 68. I'm not sure if that was true or when it started to drift down. Maybe around K2 time.

Stock on the outside except for SS brakelines. Inside , 836, ported and KH D grind cam. Owned since 1984, build date Dec. 69.

Upgrades that are almost 50 years old. Had a ride today about 100 miles. These bikes are so durable you forget how old they are.

Just finished my "more stock than not" 400 restoration.

Some not-stock items:

Ikon rear shocks
Racetech emulators front suspension
Surfaced & drilled rotor
Hondaman bushings
SS hex hardware throughout engine
CNC aluminum brake strap
Dyna ignition

This project started October 2018 and is no finished. Total rebuild from the ground up. The only old parts are the handlebars, grips, fenders, and tank (original paint). Enjoy!

I have insured it through geico for the maximum custom aftermarket upgrades which is $2,500. So hopefully it is insured for bluebook + $2,500.

Thank you. It rides as good as it looks (now). It came with it’s fair share of cosmetic and mechanical issues, but I’ve sorted it mostly. Not much to do now ... soooo another project maybe.

I would love to have a 550F like that. I almost bought one for $3,000 once. But it didn’t have impossible to replace muffler.

About 6 months ago I purchased a bunch of CB750 parts including a built up K5 engine and a rolling F2 frame. I decided to put these together and make a hybrid. Took it for a first test ride yesterday - don't know what the PO did to the engine but it goes good !
Hope to sell it to fund the restoration of a K4 using the rest of the parts I bought.
