 This was a stock yellow with cameleon flames 76' when i bought it. I removed the blinkers and chain guard,rear fender, added drag bar, fairing, flush blinkers, smaller tail light,and a quick paint job. Now it suits me. Cafe seats are cool but i like to take the little lady with me once in a while.

Viper fairing. Dosnt break the wind much uness you really bear down. 2 bolt easy install. I dig it, and thinking it would look even better with clubman bars.

I've watched this thread for a while now, just waiting til I could throw up a pic of my recent build. The day has come. The frame off, nut and bolt rebuild doesn't make it original but it's a resto mod to make it stock in appearance, the mods include a MRieck Stage two, complete head rebuild, 65mm piston bore using "ebay pistons", Web cam 41a, Gl1000 masterbrake cylinder for a pending dual disc, SS brake line, Dyna S. Progessive fork springs and Hagon Rear shocks. Sealed battery. Hondaman blade fuse panel.  Other than that.... She's pretty stock 


It's a 1975 in Flake Apricot Red.

I thought you all would enjoy a photo of my good friend's '76 750F that he purchased new when he was a mechanic at the local Honda dealer.  It has around 30k on it and is all original except for the screen, rear rack and seat foam has been reworked at some point.  He also has a '76 K in boxes in his shop.  That's my CB1100 next to it -- we thought it would be fun to put the two CB's with 4-1 pipes next to each other.

My 1978 CB750k. I would say that this is "retro stock". Fairly stock + retro mods to replace some of the styling that hurt the 77/78s.

* Hagon "Classic" Shocks (to mimic the early SOHCs)
* Valley Green Metallic to mimic the early SOHC paint scheme
* K1 Bars to give it more of a sporty look like the early models.
* 77k Seat which is flatter and closer to the older ones.




I do need to get some better pics now that I have the factory seat rail on it. This summer I plan to do a big photo shoot for it!

Looks awesome!  Very tasteful mods.  I like a lot.

Old stock bikes in good condition is really something special.
