Thought I would show you my more stock than not, just rolled it out of my dining room after going thru a 2-3 week refresh.

Here are a few shoots I have just snapped.

I have owned many 750 sohc's but this is my first K1.  The paint is  candy garnet brown.  My initial plans were to paint it candy gold but I was fortunate to find an already painted early K tank and sidecovers within 30 miles of home along with  some other parts.   No plans to go cafe with it, just happened to be the only decent seat on hand until my stock seat arrives.  I am very pleased with the candy garnet brown look.  You don't see it every day.

Not finished yet.  Waiting on a center stand to arrive and still looking for a chain guard and will do some more detailing but I have it now to where I can ride it weather permitting to determine if I like it well enough to keep.  Hoping to find some affordable HM300 pipes but not holding my breath.

Not totally stock but perhaps near enough.  Hope you like it.   Stickman

Tews19:  The paint is a repaint.  It has been done for a few years and stored on a shelf waiting for me to come along.  It is a quality repaint job and I really like the color because you dont see it all that much.  Yes, I have a 7 month old puppy but I cannot give her credit for marking the rear tire.  I have owned this bike for about a month and I have to give the PO's dog credit for the dastardly deed.  The bike will be getting a bath this week and the issue will be resolved.  Good eyes.  And thanks for the kind words.  Stickman

Hey Stickman,
How does that K1 run with those POD filters? I have heard that these bikes can be trick to tune with them. Nice color by the way. You definitely don't see that color much.

Brian,

Can't give you alot of info.  Bought the bike, got it running good, rode it maybe 20 minutes, then started my breakdown for the refresh.  I can tell you when I picked it up it had the pods and a Mac 4 into 2 chrome turn out exhaust system very much like what is on it now only rougher and it ran good with good throttle at all rpms and all gears, no flat spots, no back firing, coughing.  Have not yet checked main jetting.  It is supposted to be in the 60's here tomorrow, so I plan logging a few miles and will let you know if anything has changed.  Stickman.

A fine piece of art that 400F, right at home in any gallery!
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Hi,

It's an American bike, probably from California, according to the second owner who imported it.
The second owner rode it twice, in 30 years. First I doubted the mileage, but there is no evidence that the mileage isn't correct.

From breaker points to the brakes, they give all the same story,
