Hi.

Yes, both 74. I have restored the engine this winter, all new bearings, chains, the cheap 836 kit, paint the engine and it started right up, and after tuning and carb sync the engine sounds nice. I have been out on the road for a few miles and so long I am pleased.

Not a four, but stock anyway, enjoy.
Only the tires and spark plug caps are non stock, but I have them also.

Here's a few pix of my '72 CB350F and Velorex 562 sidecar I bought late last fall. Went through the 350 top to bottom this winter and replaced everything that needed it, but did NOT do anything to the cosmetics other than clean it up to make her as good as she could naturally be with 40 years on her. A few things were just beat and needed replacement, such as tires, shocks, and seatcover (and exhaust of course). Otherwise she's just as Honda made her with 40 years of patina. Sidecar needed a full resto, was pretty rough and beat.

Runs beautifully, and looks good too!

That's a sweet 500 Lifeislarge, welcome to the forum.  Are those Dunlop TT100/K81 tires on there?  I just bought a set so was wondering how you like them.

I wish.  They are Made in Taiwan knockoff Dunlops which serve their purpose I guess.  I didn't put them on the PO did.  They're nearly new so I'm finding it difficult to justify a swap until they either aggravate me enough to unass them or they wear out, whichever comes first.  The bike has an older restoration on it which makes it easier to ride with less fear of messing it up.  In fact, two hours after I tagged and titled it some a-hole backed into it in a parking lot and knocked it over.  Bastard picked it up, put it back on the stand and took off.  Lucky she only had superficial wounds.  Not sure what's in store for the bike in the future, either a full on preservation or I'll sell it and get something else.

I'm brand new here, but I agree.  It took me over a year to find a CB750k that was stock (mostly) and not "cafed."

There's a certain lure and mystique about stock bikes. Especially origin owners that have kept them up. My hat goes off to all that have kept their rides and polished them so we can all appreciate em.

I haven't been good about keeping bikes for long and most everything I have is modified to some extent. But the 750 will remain stock, two of the kids already threatened me with bodily harm if I sell it.

Hope to get to this point one day.
