750 K:  Here is a shot on the sidestand.  Because of the added height, I chose to go with an extended sidestand to stand it up straighter.  Bikes that lean too much bug me.  Take care.

Stickman, did you lengthen a stock sidestand or did you buy one that was longer than stock?  I need to do the same thing because my bike leans way too much and makes me very uncomfortable when parking on gravel.  I think my shocks are set to a pretty tall setting, ive never messed with them because I am 6'3" and it fits me perfectly, but it is how it was set up when I bought it.  Would like a longer stand like yours.

Thanks for the kind comments. The bike looks nicer in pics but is a survivor. I am the second owner. The first owner purchased the bike in Nov 69 and carefully cared for the bike for 30 years.

HonderCB:  The extended sidestand was a take off just lying around.  It came off a 74 750 with a 6 over front end which I put back stock.  It is a stock stand that has been cut and lengthened.  I have done it myself before.  Just happened to be just right on my bike.

You must have a newer tank then, cause 75 was the first year for left side mount.

Bwaller:  Very nice 73.  Guess I am just a sucker for the 750 in red.  And I like the fact you left the tank without stripes.  There is just something about the early K tank that catches my eye in a solid color.  The bike shows more like a 15,000 mile bike.  Obvious pride of ownership here.  Good job.  Stickman

Yea there's a backwards wing....like I said more stock than not. You should see my wife's 500/550.
