'76 750F, it has an F2 tank, but original paint, tail is painted to kind of match. Lower euro bars and Kerker muffler, but otherwise all stock

Pulled the cover off my 1975 CB400F. Gave it a bit of a polish and took a photo with a flattering filter on my camera.
Not 100% stock.... Getting ready for the up coming summer in my part of the world.

Here's my K1 in its current form, with the (somewhat) recently redone side covers, and a little bit of the 550K2. I'll get a better picture of both of them in the daylight on Sunday. Just last week the guy I bought it from almost 15 years ago and I ran across each other on a completely non-bike related subreddit. We haven't corresponded since a few months after I bought it from him, and it was totally out of the blue. I've attached the pictures he took of the bike before the sale, and what it looked like spread out on the floor of my garage a week later.

My 75 750F, found it on FB Marketplace for $400, gladly paid full asking price. Started out quite a mess, had been in storage since 1987, last time it had been started. It had been stored in a very damp garage, the chrome had lots of rust, as did the tank. Came with no fender, no headlight, barely ran and wouldn't stay running under 3000 RPM's. I have put a ton of elbow grease into it and including purchase I think I have about $1100 in it now. Still trying to locate an original muffler for it, in good condition, otherwise it's pretty much stock except for the car glass pack muffler I am running on it and an aftermarket headlight.
