#$%*, we just got hit by a beauty, one wall of the house is looking a bit buggered. Off out to the garage to check on the bikes.

 It might be even busier if you have to  put it back up. Better go check.

it wasn't too bad, only 5.5 manitude but certainly felt bigger than that. Doesn't seem to have caused any more damage, whats coming down has already toppled, apart from a few tall buildings in town that are causing headaches. how do you drop a 27 storey bulding that'on a lean ?

I nwas just reading a scientific report on the quakes and it said;
Quote
Scientists said last week that there was an almost one-in-four chance of another quake measuring 6.0 to 7.0 in the next year.

Not good news for our Kiwi friends...... :(

to borrow a phrase from an old movie "poltergeist"   they're back.
coped a 5.5 and a 6.0 early this afternoon and had about 25 or so smaller ones roll through so far after. been round to a lady friends house for mutual support and a few wines then got turfed out, how does that happen ? must have had the wrong beer as back up boogaloo.

Hey Scunny,

Good to hear you are OK...  I'm a bit over all this shaking!!

I work on the 3rd floor of a building and it moves around A LOT when we have a quake... nerves are getting a bit shot to be honest!!

Moved barrow loads of silt out of our lane yesterday... Started at 7.30am and stopped at 4.00pm... Body is feeling bloody sore today!!  and still some more to go!!

My Honda is still on the jack so just rolled around the garage but my Harley took a tumble... but thankfully no damage!

Garage is complete mess.... almost everything off the shelves and mixed up on the floor!!

Hope all this stops soon!!!

Got that right Lloyd..... I don't flinch until they hit 6.0...............been quite awhile since I felt one that strong.......remember the ones back in the late 70's.....early 80's that hit in Hollister.......6.0 / 6.5....that sh!t will wake ya up!!!!! When the big Kahuna hit in 89' (7.2 baby!!).... I was in Redding ...250 miles north but people 30 miles south of me felt that one.Hope you all are OK out there Scunny.
