Meeting in Bellingham the morning of July 16th and riding to Winthrop for lunch and beverage then back to Bellingham.

Check out the route on a ride planner or an Atlas.  300 mile round trip, full of great riding.

Oh ya, I’m definitely in, but why ride to Bellingham just to ride south to Sedro Woolly again?

The ride just starts in Bellingham, because thats were the ride planner lives.  I got a hotel in Sedro Wooley the night before.  The riders from B ham will take 9 down to hwy 20 in Sedro Wooley where we will meet up.

Sorry to side track but it's tomorrow.

VJMC Show and Shine
June 18, 2011: Auburn, Washington

This is the second annual Hinshaw Motorcycle Shop / VMJC Show and Shine. Last year we had about 40 participants and around 60 classic Japanese motorcycles on display and we are looking for a larger presence this year as word has spread throughout the Pacific Northwest about this event. Hinshaw's ower, Ron Ore, is hosting an open house in conjunction with the Show and Shine and will have his private collection on display, as well as hot dogs, chips and beverages. Hinshaw's is located just to the west of Hwy 167 at the Auburn Super-mall exit in Auburn, WA. We look forward to seeing you all there.

I'm riding that way with 8 friends that day.  We are comming from Kimberley, Bc and plan to be in Republic, Washington on the nite of the 15th.  It is quite possible that we will meet on the road.  We had been planning to homestead at the brew pub in Twisp.   We are heading to the coast and over to Vancouver Island.  Our plan is to be in victoria on the 18th.  Any advice on hotels at or near Anacortes would be appreciated.  Sorry no SOHC content in our ride this year - first time in 7 years though!

I'm tempted to truck my bike up there do the ride and truck it home. I won't know if this is doable until right up to the date though.

i'm just looking over the map and trying to figure out when you would be in Winthrop?  As I mentioned in a previous post, we are coming from the east on # 20.  The plan is to meet some friends in Republic and travel west on the 16th. It looks like about 100 miles from Republic to Winthrop.   It would be good to meet up with some fellow SOHC members.

Not really sure on an exact time we will be in Winthrop on the 16th but I am guessing sometime around noon for lunch, then heading back over the Bellingham.  If you are in Winthrop on the 16th it should be pretty easy to meet up.

Our plans are still to be in the area ( Twisp or Winthrop) about noon.  What bikes should I look out for?  We are some black generic HD's, a Victory bat cycle, a goldwing, Suzi Cavalcade.  All Canadian plates.
