Another CB saved from the barn
« on: June 16, 2011, 06:13:03 AM »
This is my latest find.  1972 CB175,  looks all original, runs great, just needs a title.  I now found a local branch in indy that will title these old bikes with a police report and bill of sale.

Nice...looks like the barn did not hurt this little bike. How does it run? Did you have to do much to it...carbs, etc.? Or did she fire right up? Sweet...

Thanks Greggo!

Johnie,  the bike is as i bought it,  ive just dusted it off a bit.  Batt is dead but kicks over and runs.  Starter does work just need a new batt.  Has 10k miles, and has obviously been taken care of pretty well.

Sweet find!

I just picked up a title-less 72 CB 100 in indianapolis yesterday, what did the BMV tell you about getting a title for the bike?  Sounds like I am in the same situation.  Any advice would be appreciated, Thanks!

Go to the NORA branch by giest.   Have a Bill of sale and a police vin check/report.   Go in and tell them you need a Bill of Sale Title.   I saw that cb100 bye the way, looked nice!   hit me up sometime, theres a few of us that ride our vintages every now and then.
