CB650 racing exhaust?
« on: June 06, 2011, 07:34:36 AM »
Does anybody know of a racing exhaust system to fit my 1979 CB650 race bike? I'm currently using a MAC 4/1 system, but clearance wise, it is very limited on the right side when turning right on the track.
  Thanx, Dave #590

I did acquire a 4-1 jardine several years ago.   It has more clearance than the mac.
Only one I have ever seen though.

Would you consider selling the 4/1 Jardine system? I am not concerned with rust or paint quality. I simply need more cornering clearance for the race track.

Dave, you could always make some kerf cuts and welding here & there to tuck your exhaust up & out of the way. That's what I did with my Kerker for both clearance and  a better fit for a belly pan. Neither touch down now.

No sorry its mine for ever.   Its also a equal leingth primary unlike the macs.
I had pics in the old gallery and havent reloaded them.  Dont have any on this laptop that show them very good.
