Thanks everyone, tis cool to receive good wishes.
It was great to throw a leg over the old girl today & go for a good ride. I've missed that sweet sound of a SOHC at full song. It did me the world of good.
I had a bloke on a Honda Shadow beside me at the lights at one stage who said he hadn't seen a CB for years & he reckoned it sounded brand new. Made me smile.

I'm 59 this year, glad to hear you got in a ride. Happy B-day. There is something about the sound of a sohc4. My honda's are 41 and 35, I took the youngster on the tour. The old girl is on the stand waiting to get freshened up.
