Advertisements and replies ATTN: MODS

Two things. There is something screwed up with the advertisements being doubled on the recently updated pages and the box where you type your replies or posts is about three screens wide.  Something is amiss in the sites code.
Since when did we get advertisers here?  I no like......

I installed Adblocker into Firefox and I'm see the same screen format errors you have experienced.  I even disabled it for the SOHC4 forums, but it is still making the pages 3X wide.

FYI, I don't mind static advertising.  But, I won't tolerate the flashing animated ads. 
They are far too distracting when trying to understand or formulate technical content.  ...And telling me to "get used to it" is NOT a viable solution.

Maybe if we worked on trying to get more members to donate a few dollars every now and then there would be no need for the advertisements.  I have faith that Glenn would not continue running the ads if he got enough money through donations to maintain and keep upgrading the site.

My only gripe on the ads is the 6 inches I have to scroll down. A horizontal ad would be better or place them along the sides.
