New to the Group

Hello everyone,

I've been lurking around this forum since I purchased my '75 CB750 back in February and thought it was about time to introduce myself! It's a great site and has helped me a lot, it's also made me slightly apprehensive when I read about all the challenges keeping up a 30+ year old bike but so far so good. I've yet to make it on the road but getting close, which leads me to a question:

Can anyone recommend a paint shop that's good and cheap (if those can go together) in or around Toronto, Ontario?

Thanks,
J

Welcome. How about a pic of your bike? They can be a challenge to keep up, but there's a great deal of fun and satisfaction there as well. Last year a member TinTin had painting done an outfit in Brantford, Ontario. How far is that from Toronto? He was real pleased with the work, posted some pics as well. I often wish they were closer to me.

Here's the link he provided to their web site, good luck and keep us up to date on your progress.

....from one new guy to another, welcome Canuck Cafe! Toronto and the GTA are a bike mad place if there ever was one. Lot's of riding enthusieast's there. I'll be posting pics of my F shortly, looking forward to seeing your '73. BK Custom Coatings in Brantford is one of best places at specialises in repainting Japanese bikes, as Bob Wessner states above. Cheers, Peter

Thanks for the welcome and the tip on BK, I'll give them a call for sure.

I can't wait to get a photo up, the key being "a" photo, singular. Right now I'd probably have to shoot off half a roll of film but just as soon as I get all those parts pulled together in one place I'll get one up, hopefully this weekend!
