Hello...here I am!
« on: May 02, 2006, 10:02:46 AM »
Good day all...
Well here I am! Just got a 1975 750 ;D   Beat up and ugly but... very cool!

The short story goes like this... Growning up.. had a xr75... just my size at the time. Rode the #$%* out of that little dirt bike. Then.. my pops got a '72 750 and that was his baby. Cool stuff.

Anyway .. became a teenager and was too busy skippin school and causing trouble.. blah blah blah.. forgot about the bikes...

and now...

...some twenty somethin' years later here I am with my own 750! Sweet! It kind of runs.. well... I've been able to put 5 miles on it so far. Working on some things to make it more road worthy now. Replaced the cables and other obvious things... struggling with the electrical now.

Thank goodness for this site! I've been reading and lurking for a couple of weeks now and the knowledge here is invaluable! Haven't really had to ask a question yet as most of them have already been answered... and quite well I might add. But my personal deadline for getting my bike rollin' is just about here, and she's not runnin' right yet >:(

Soooo... ya'll'll likely be hearing more from me in the future.

PEACE!

Vince
