i know this has been brought up many times but i started goin through the carbs on my cb650 and first off they are in bad shape, gaskets were put in backwards, all the ears are snapped off the mixture screws ect...people amaze me. the main jets installed were 120's, the dynojet stg3 includes 116's. should i keep the 120's? itll have k&n pod filters, high flow exhaust, bumped compression. thanks

This question will answer itself once you get back on the road. Running too rich? Swap out to the smaller jet. Running OK? leave it alone.

Let the bike tell you what it needs, that will likely be more accurate than any guess than one of us might make.

Is the kit for the 79/80 650's?   Stock on them only ran a 90 jet with the old carbs.
The CV's are very forgiving to jetting.

its for a 81 650 with cv carbs. i think ill just put in the jets that came with the kit. if its too lean ill put the 120s back in.
