WHEN YOU GONNA MAKE AN ALLOY TANK FOR THE 750
Quote from: cben750f1 on April 25, 2006, 06:51:23 AMWHEN YOU GONNA MAKE AN ALLOY TANK FOR THE 750 CR750 tanks are coming soon. Just need to get these CB350 rolling along and we will soon be making the alloy CR750 tanks(these should fit the CB500/CB550 fours also).Also........I think we are gonna have a version of the CB350 tank adapted to fit the CB350F and CB400F inline fours.......more to come....stay tuned!!! Hey there Greg, Good to see that you're doing more of those tanks. Ya think the 350 tank might work on the CB/CL450K series? I don't know that I could swing the finances to get one of those jewels though. They are pretty sharp item. Good Work Greg. Later on, Bill
If I may ask, how much for one of these babies ?
Bill,Dont think these CB350 tanks will fit the CB/CL450s. I tried it awhile ago and the front mounting area are setup alot different.I need to set the tanks up with the front bottom sloping forward(like the CR750 tanks), insted of sloping backwards. Who knows....if I spend enough time in the garage.....I may find a solution.I do wish I could offer the tanks at a lower price.........but, with what I have into them with materials and labor. Who knows......I may set something up for SOHC4 members to get them at a discount. Have to run some numbers and see what I could do?? Dont hold me to it....but i'll try. lLater,Greg
Okay guys....been doing alot of work in the shop.....and proud to annouce:WE NOW HAVE ALLOY CAFE GP TANKS TO FIT THE CB350F AND CB400F, INLINE FOURS!!The tanks look exactly the same as the CB350 twin alloy tank........but with a redesigned tunnel to accomidate the frame mounted coils.I will post some more pics of the new tunnel this weekend.More soon,Greg
Probably a silly question, but do the 400F tanks use the stock petcock and petcock location along with the stock mounting points? And will the CR750 tanks use the stock mounting points and petcock and do away with the sump?
Fantastic!!!!! Now, if I could just figure a way to come up with the bucks without selling everything I own. You have quite a product there Greg. Later on, Bill
what's the capacity on them?
damn fine work!
