Ok, first this....

I disagree.  Arguing on the internet is like #$%*ing a fat chick.  It may be ugly, but it's still loads of fun and there's plenty of room to invite your friends to join in! ;D

I agree, and much less funny than the original joke.

I dont know 333, his jokes are quite reminiscent of fuzzy2bucks, virtually along the same lines. But, besides that, roy1 virtually has no bike related posts of any kind. If he had, oh I don't know, balanced it to at least 70% jokes and 30% bike, then it might be different. But is is about 97% bad jokes and 3% bikes.
We are predominantly a bike forum. If roy wants to spam jokes, I am sure there are plenty of joke forums that would welcome him.
Sure we do not have to read the jokes but as others have said, it clutters up the unread post list and can't be filtered.

Sorry to offend you but I assumed that this thing being old as dirt everyone and there mother had seen it.  Wasn't supposed to be funny more a statement that arguing bout jokes on a bike forum it is ridiculous.  If this guy actually screwed someone over on the boards... blacklist his IP!  That's what mod privileges are for.   Otherwise, go fix a bike or ride one.

Seems that the real solution would be a filterable listing of new posts

Posts in the humor section don't count toward your post count. Same with some of the other boards...

I actually don't think fuzzy2bucks was the same as buckykatt.

It's all speculation, of course, but there are far too many coincidences that line up for me to not be very suspicious.

hmmm....interesting.

One thing that I noticed here is one of the other posters in this thread
usually only has negative things to say about other posters, including me.

I think that might be part of the problem here: humor doesn't always
translate well without facial feedback or in the case of the internet,
smilies.

michel
