Did you consider telling the guy that you haven't received his payment yet? Maybe a short civilized discussion could sort out the whole mess better than public tattle-telling. Just sayin'. Also, this is in the wrong place -- maybe try the public forum.

If you didn't get payment then no parts should get shipped out unless you have delt with before and or know the person. I used to send things out before getting paid got burnt once don't do it any more.
How did he send payment?

The SOHC4 Tech Forum is not the place to air out your buying/selling problems.

have him prove he sent the payment before sending out the parts. Paypal should have a record of it if thats how he sent it.

paypal, as much as I hate it, solves those kind of problems.   Leaves absolutely no doubt.

If he sent you a check - he should be able to contact his bank to see if it was ever cashed.   If he sent you an envelope with cash....well, that's his bad.

I've bought and sold many parts with guys on this forum.   I yet to have any problems.   I have no problem saying most here are stand-up guys.

Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.

Look through paypal, they have recourse.

I had a friend who thought something was fishy about a guy avoiding e-bay payment/paypal. Sent the item without pay to the winner.

Wasn't what he wanted so it's up for bid again but payed for.  Anyone want a washburn  125th anniversary parlor guitar re-issue search it.

;D  Pat English is a great seller. I recently purchased a set of 1970 CB750 fork ears from him. He mailed it out the next day and it arrived quick. He provided a delivery confirmation number and best of all I got a great part at a great price.
THANKS PAT
