Should We Have A Memorial Thread?
« on: June 23, 2011, 02:14:56 PM »

In light of Uncle Ernie's passing, should we have a memorial Thread in the Open Forums board like some other forums have?

How about naming it 'The Uncle Ernie Memorial Board' with a subtitle like, 'For Those No Longer Riding With Us' or something like that?

What do you guys think?  Ideas?

You've got to watch your back in the SSDB, this is where the clever guys get bored with bike talk and make poo jokes.

I think so too and that is why I poised this a little earlier.

I thought we already had one or do you want an official memorial thread?

I'm talking about a dedicated child board - I think that's the term - for those members that are no longer with us. (a separate section of the open forums like we have now for Humor, Movies, New Member Introductions, etc.) A place where we can put threads like the one for Uncle Ernie.

That seems like a good idea, eventually the present thread will get buried as time goes by-with a dedicated Immemorial thread that should not happen...Larry

Thanks Glenn! Any chance the 'RIP Uncle Ernie' thread can be moved to it?  Again, thanks!  8)
