I suppose this is a reintroduction... I signed up here years ago when I had my 72 CB500. I got rid of it about 3 years ago though, and have just kind of been lurking around every so often. Just checking out all of the killer bikes here.
Anyhow, Im 99% sure Ill be trading a cb350g custom chopper project I have here soon for a stock 78 CB750k7.
That said, it looks like Ill be hanging around a bit more seeing as the SOHC knowledge here is immense.
Im not new to bikes by any means, and have a few neat projects (68 CL175 racer, 71 Yamaha R5 racer, 74cb125 racer) but the 750 is a new beast to me. This summer Ill just be riding the wheels off of her when not tinkering with the above mentioned money pits.
Over winter there will probobly be some basic bolt on stuff done just to change the look up a bit. Better exhaust, clip ons, and rearsets, cafe styled seat on a stock pan, small signals, etc...
This will be my workhorse bike for when Im not on the little racers or need to ride longer distances so I dont want to radically alter anything (we'll see how long that lasts...).
