I wonder if he has sex the night before, if it screws up his whole day?  ???  Nothing but bikes with squiggly lines coming out of the factory that day... ;)

Seriously, if they put that much attention to detail and quality into the mechanics of their bikes and expanded their line, they'd outsell Harley in no time.  (Maybe) ;D

I always liked Enfileds and now this just another reason. You wouldn't see that at a Harley, BMW, or Triumph (or Honda for that matter) shop.

Some years ago I had bodywork done to my MX-6 in Worcester, Mass after the whole driver's side got crunched.  The shop wouldn't do the pinstriping, though the insurance paid for it.  They sent me to a painter outside of town, who hand details cars.  I watched while this fella prepped his brush and paint, squinted for a few moments at the pinstripe on the rest of the car, then started at one end of the car and just moved on back.  Finished with a little signature at the end, then went back to do the second, thinner parallel stripe.  Just fascinating, and perfect!  It was worth the accident to get to see a true craftsman work on my car.

The pinstripe on my tank is really nice.   There's some talent in prison. (inmates at the prison in Jackson, LA did my tank and side covers).  Didn't get to see it being done.  I wish I could have seen it done.

If you really want to appreciate what that guy did in that video you need to invest about $10 in a pin-striping brush and three or four bucks for a can of One Shot and give it a try.  The usual way to practice is to print a set of straight lines on a piece of paper and then lay a pane of glass over top of it and practice on the glass.  Cleanup is with mineral spirits.  They say that after you've done 1000 lines on the glass you should be ready to try it on a piece of metal.  I've laid down a few hundred lines and they have made it clear to me that I'm no pin-striper, but give it a try, you might find that you're good at it.
