1977 cb750, 2 nuts inside the headlight bucket

This is driving me nuts, which color wires connect to the 2 nuts inside the headlight bucket? and then which other wires do i connect those too? is that just a ground? also my front blinkers are on my back blimkers are off, when i switch to the right blinker it shuts off and the same when i switch to the left.

ok, so do i have to find 2 grren grounds to then hook up to them?

ok, so do i have to find 2 grren grounds to then hook up to them?

Normally there are about 2-4 extra Green sockets in the wiring inside these headlights (depending on year/model). You can use those, or jumper the "nuts" grounds together into one and use a 3M splice (Blue color) to splice onto a Green wire in there.

This supplies a ground to the signal lights and maybe the instrument lights, horn etc. Without at least one of these connected to a main harness green the ground current passes through the steering bearings - an unreliable ground and passing electricity is bad for the bearings.

Exellent, thank you all..... Now if i can figure out why my back blinkers dont come on but the front ones do?

Make sure the Green main ground is tied to the frame (under the seat) and clean, and the ground for those turn signals is clean. If you painted the frame back there, you'll need to clean some paint off so the signals can ground.

I looked everywhere under the seat but i see no green wire grounded to the frame? is it hidden? can i splice to the green wire and ground it myself to the frame?
