CB550K Stacks & Rejet
« on: June 21, 2011, 11:15:19 AM »
Hey Guys,

I have a 1977 CB550 and am interested in putting velocity stacks on it but I understand that I will need to rejet, can anyone tell me what jets I need to replace and with what size?

Thanks!

there is no actual size to go by its trial and error also depend on if your bike is stock or modded

They can tell you with the same accuracy as predicting what numbers you'll roll on a pair of dice.

Hey Slice, a decent starting point might be two sizes up on the mains, and lowering the needles one position.  That got it in the ballpark for me...with my open exhaust.   Your results may vary.   ;)
