You made me think about it after I cheered knowing someone else would like to know what these control freaks are up to.
 Every time any owner strips whatever precious Honda part the horrified purists parts go up in value. That's not the part that bothers them.

It's not too bulky - looks about like a triumph thruxton seat to me!  That would be cool if you made like a fiberglass cowl for the back of it like the thruxton too just to have the option of having the back be body color sometimes.  Good work man!

nice man i to have been thinking about a cafe style but when i am looking at them on ebay the never seem to fit a 750 bolt up all seem to have some fab work

Thanks everyone.  I must say I have no regrets.  My seat is plenty comfy and looks great.  I love the fact that I did it myself with some help.  I recommend giving it a shot it you aren't a total putz.  I plan on buying a second seat pan that will make 2up riding more comfortable.  That being said this seat does work for 2up its just not for touring at all.  I use the bike mostly for commuting, what a great way to start and finish the day.  Next I may try my hand at fiberglassing a seat.  I enjoy projects, if you do too then definitely give it a go!

Every ebay cafe seat is from Vietnam, no offense intended.  Just haven't had great luck with Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean parts.

It was ignorance on my part.  I did not mean to offend anyone's race when making that post.  Sometimes people say one thing and mean another.  What I was getting at was that Epay sells a lot of garbage parts that come from manufactures from Asian countries (and US as well).  But the majority are from Vietnam, China, Korea, Taiwan etc.  Honestly it doesn't matter where the parts are coming from. My point was that someone might be more proud of their own craftsmanship than that of a manufacturer from Epay who they have no information of the history of the company.
