Haven't been here in a looong while, but had to tell somebody about the ride this weekend:
rode from salisbury, MD to Carmel NY on Thursday, about an hour north of NYC. Took the Garden state parkway and jersey pike, as well as the taconic to 301. round trip of about 600 miles. 500 frame and wiring and a 550 engine with modified fairings and a 750 tank. got about 41 miles to the gal.
Good sunny weather from new jersey on this morning. 7 hours door to door today.
Had to hide under a bridge for a minute going up on thursday from some thunder showers .
all in all not a bad ride
