Topic: 78cb550k tail fuse blowing

Hey all,

I recently purchased this tail light

now my tail light fuse is blowing.  I have a photo of how i mounted it



there are only 2 wires coming from the new tail light.  I read that 3rd party tail lights are built to use the housing as a ground.  I thought that maybe the connection between the housing and the seat might be making a poor ground so i have that metal wire wrapped around the bolt and the tail light housing.  I even switched out to the bulb that was in the stock tail light and the fuse is still blowing.  The stop light still works though


Does anyone have any ideas as to what it might be?
