maybe just re-due the cam chain adjustment again making sure you've got the "t"mark 1.4 to the timing mark and both valves of #1 cylinder are free, checked by removing the tappet caps on the top of the motor. if tight spin the crankshaft around a full cycle till they are loose to the touch. then rotate the crankshaft clockwise till the spring peg on the advancer assembly is just to the right of the timing mark. Then loosen the locknut on the cam chain tensioner, then re-tighten same nut for it is spring loaded and will automatically adjust to take up any lack of tension on the camchain.
