...what an improvement. I'd done a number of things to my needy 750 and this is by far the best. The bike feels so much better, so much more agile and toss-able. Why did Honda put those high bars on the U.S. bikes? They ruin the feel of the bike. Must have been a 70's thing...

What is the rise and pull back of the ones you got?
Where'd ya get 'em and what'd ya pay?

The rise is 2.5" and the pullback is 5 5/8". They were $25 from cb750supply.com. (They do free shipping on orders over $50 and I needed some throttle cables too.)

The stock cable lengths seem to work fine with them. They're a very worthwhile $25 mod. I look forward to hearing your thoughts about them after you get them installed.

I'm thinking Napoleon-style bar end mirrors and maybe a viper fairing. Very old school. A ratty cafe bike...I picked it up about a month ago for $500.

Yeah, Royal Oak Thursday bike night. I haven't stopped there this year yet, perhaps because I've done more wrenching than riding.

+1 on the euro bars. they kind of let you get closer to the front of the bike so turning is much easier. for some reason i also find the bike easier to push around if need be.

I really like em on my bike, they fit the profile of the 750 very well, and the bar end mirrors are perfect.

give the superbike bars a chance as well. just put them on my 550 and feel and look great. Best deal i have found on superbike and euro bars came from z1 enterprises. $14 bucks. the owner supports sohc4 as well.

Don't get Kenda Challenger tires though, (they suck) too harsh a ride.

That is Jeff Beck in my profile pic. my girlfriend took that pic when we saw him last year. Best concert I've ever seen and I've been to a lot of concerts since my first in 1973. Jeff Beck is nothing short of amazing.

I had Super bike bars on my bike too, they were nice and looked good on the bike too. I went with the European Super Bike bars for a little less reach.

Z1 Ent. is good to deal with too.

I got three bikes in my garage a CB550, CB750 & CB900F all have the European bars. As mentioned a great improvement over stock bars. What is really interesting is on my CB750 I have put them upside down instead of clubman bars. Very cool and a lot of compliments.

I've got Challenger 671's on my 550, I haven't had any issues with the ride.

However, I'm a big guy, 6-4, 230, so I sit back on the seat and exert extra gravitationally aided downforce on the tires, so that could explain the reasonably smooth ride.

Looks great! I talked to Ted last year about getting a Giuliari repro seat, but got laid off right after I talked to him. I'm working now and just about ready to order.

I love the set up on your 750. The dual drilled discs look great. How does the stopping power compare to stock? Where did you get the noodle for the right side caliper? The dual discs and the viper fairing give it an appearance not unlike a BMW R90S. I've been on the fence about ordering the viper fairing and your pics may have pushed me over the edge.

Yeah, Euro is the way to go and now you guys must learn to pay taxes so you can improve your thirdworld roads and find out what riding is all about.

We pay plenty of taxes, but our government is too busy lining their own pockets to put the money where it belongs. BTW, we have some very nice roads here.

I couldn't agree more. Our infrastructure is falling apart. I don't understand why we can't close tax loopholes for large corporations and the extremely wealthy enough to bring down our deficit and rebuild our infrastructure. I might get some flack for this, but to each their own. (Or maybe it's just Michigan roads...)

Hi, Guys.. Thanks for the pics showing off my handiwork. The seats are definately a Labor (intense) of Love.

And I really like the "M" bars as well. I've been sitting on a set for the last year just waiting for the right bike build to put them on. The black ones look beyotchin'!

Holden, I'm really curious about your Power Levers. I have some Maguras, but I don't think they have the finger notches. Do you know who made yours of remember where you got them? Thanks in advance! Ted aka RR
