That bike is stupid low.  The rear mud flap and tag bracket are the cherries on top.  Makes me want to hurl.

Oops I feel stupid, I just realized that I posted this in the tech thread... I also realized that in the background of the pic there a box truck and should not have been able to keep up at all and I'm pretty sure this is well past half way up the tail of the dragon

I don't think he can lean it far enough over to go around those curves very fast.  He better pull over and let that truck by before it runs him over.

No unfortunatley I was pulling up some pics from my day at deals gap and this was one of the first ones... I might try to look for other angles from the other pic sites but I thought some one would recognize the front end

a couple of years ago some dude tried to start a motorcycle company using single cylinder honda 650cc motors in his own design called the 'gator'I think, you sit in them, not on.This bike could be one of those, handled great but was so stupid looking they didnt take off.
its better to regret something you have done, than something you havent.Except playing with explosives.

That "dude" was none other than Dan Gurney. The gator was well executed and with low frontal area wicked fast and handled great. Biggest problem was Dan didn't want to give them away. Ltd run of 36 for $35k each. Sold Out.  Carbon Fiber, Gran Prix technology, 140mph 0-60 in 3.1 seconds.

Don't know what ever became of it after that.

Dan Gurney doesn't have to prove anything to anyone. That may be all he wanted to sell.

The bike above is not a Gurney Gator.
