How should I list NOS honda parts here?
« on: June 29, 2011, 05:19:49 PM »
Ok, still cleaning out the barn.

Finally found those NOS CB750 parts I talked about last week.
Now my problem is:
How to list them? There are 30-40 parts and my typing skills are weak/slow.
Remember I lost pats of 2 fingers last year?

Anyways,
do you think it would be ok to list them by part number only ,
via pictures on my webserver,  or should I also
have a descriptive?

If you knew the part # you could search the photos....
by asking you to cut and paste the following your browser:

http://www185.pair.com/canukvt/hon/NOS_parts

Right now I am leaning towards listing them by part #, Having the wife do the quick typing.

to wit:

Suggestions are welcome.
I will attempt to list these parts by July 3rd, 2011, and
would entertain offers until july 16, 2011 for members of sohc/4 only
then list them on ebay (if the offers were not reasonable).

peace,
michel

I would say that you as the seller should do the homework and describe what you are selling. If I were looking for something in particular....I would be asking for the part...not the part #........just sayin'................

Some people can loo at a part and know what year and model it is for. The newer members who would probably buy more can;t. You can list them slowly, but nothing is better than someone seeing the year and model a part is for.

If you are rebuilding the motor,
have parts for cheap  8)

that is, if I can find the time between restoring the 5 bikes I'm doing right now. ::)
