Looking for some tech advice---
I have been looking through my Clymer and the Honda Service Manuals for advice, but I can't see to find the right carburetor adjustment procedures for these carbs.
I am just getting this bike up and running after 15 yrs. stored with gas.  The carbs were completely seized.  Below are some before and after pics.  I believe I have them pretty clean.  I did not purchase any rebuild kits, jets, etc. as I am waiting to finalize exhause before determining what size I need to try.
After cleaning, the bike fired right up.  I completely disassembled the stay plate, and needle assemblies.  I just visually got them synced the best I could, then got a Motion Pro carb synchronizer, and synched the slides, basically just at idle.
The manuals say to adjust the air/fuel by seating, then one full turn out to start (I could be off on the exact spec, I don't have it up right now)  But the only adjustment on each carb is on the last pic below, and from what I can tell, this is the idle air adjustment.  I did not remove them when I cleaned as as you can see, then only turn about 300 degrees.
My questions are:
Is this the only adjustment (besides the slides) that I need to adjust, or am I missing something obvious?
Is this air/fuel, or am I correct in saying idle air adjustment?
What is the best adjustment procedure?
Thanks in advance for any help.

The air screw is the one under the black cap and 1 turn out is about right.  I think the spec is 1 plus or minus 3/8.  The cap pops off and the real adjustment screw is revealed.   :)  The cap has a stop so it has restricted movement .  You will find with the pods getting the settings correct will be trial and error and will involve larger jets and maybe changing the clip position on the needle.  There is a long discussion on pods here so search for that and it will give you some insight.  It is almost a given that these bikes will run better with the airbox but pods can be made to work but it takes a bit of tuning.

I would just add this thought.  Hold onto the airbox as some go back to it after having problems and never getting the pod tuning right.

Thanks for the help.  I think I might just go ahead and throw it back on now.  I wasn't too impressed with these cheap pod filters anyway.  (10$ /pc.)
