cant find a snap ring

replacing the fork seals the snap ring went flying out of the garage and into the yard and i cant find it.  which is awesome because i cant find one anywhere else either.  anyone know where  i might find one?  cb750k5.  FML >:(

Were the upper fork tubes still on the forks when you were removing the ring? Seems kinda freakey to have it fly away.Been on my hands and knees before,bummer losing little bits.

excellent observation, no they were not.  i will try to remember that for next time though.

update,  the fork seal retaining rings that i ordered from dime city cycles are not the correct ones fore most of our bikes.  on their site it says cb750k, however, they do not list the years.  the item they sent me is 51447-kl4-951.  this fits 79 and 80 model year only for the 750k.  how nice would it be if they listed that?  i will try it anyway and report back.

Just so happens I have a K7 and ordered those rings a few weeks ago.  Just took em out of the box and lined em up.  Good to go...
