Nominate for Bike Of The Month - August 2011
« on: July 01, 2011, 08:12:52 AM »
It's Nominatin' Time!

July 2011 BOTM Voting Threadhttp://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=91050.0

Congratulations Beveldrive for being the July 2011 BOTM winner!

I will let this run until about 7/15/11 and then start the voting thread.

Please Nominate, Second and Accept using those words.  It makes it easier for me to setup the voting threads.  It gets cryptic at times.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

I can't find that recent stocker thread full of pics but there were a ton of contenders there.

We could have a stocker shootout with that thread.

Thanks for finding that thread!  I searched for a while too.  My Search-Fu failed again.

You know, I took your advise and looked through that thread. I would like to nominate KAP384's stunning '77 750F.

Thanks, Bill and Pete!  I'll graciously accept the nomination. :)

She's no show queen, but I think she looks good for her age, having just turned 40 this Spring, and the fact that she's been my daily rider for the past 7 years.  I'll do my best to get some more pictures together for the voting thread.

This bike is so awesome it stands up by itself. Look ma, no kickstand! Seriously, can I just not see the sidestand or is there something else holding the bike up?

I jumped off and snapped the picture before it had time to fall over! ;D

Really, though, you just can't see the kick stand from the angle this shot was taken.

This month seemed to create that theme. I did not create it , maybe influenced it a bit. You may nominate whomever you were going to nominate.
